A Ventilation System Mold Remediator (VSMR) has undergone training that ensures an understanding of basic microbiological contamination, project assessment, and how to apply NADCA and other industry standards, have passed a rigorous examination that tests complete understanding of basic microbiological agents, how to perform project assessment, and the proper application of industry guidelines and standards. ASCS and/or CMR certification is a prerequisite for VSMR certification.
Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification signifies a high level of professionalism in the HVAC cleaning industry. Through certification, contractors demonstrate requisite knowledge of HVAC system cleaning, NADCA standards, OSHA regulations and more. By passing a rigorous 150-question certification examination, contractors will achieve a reputation of reliability and competence.
